Highlight from the Archive: Cervical Spondylosis

“Like death and taxes, cervical spondylosis would seem to be unavoidable.”

That quote comes from Rand M. Voorhies, MD, in “Cervical Spondylosis: Recognition, Differential Diagnosis, and Management”–one of our most requested articles this month, per Pubmed Central–published in the spring 2001 issue of The Ochsner Journal.  In this brief review, the author delineates three clinical syndromes of cervical spondylosis and considers the differential diagnosis and management options. The Ochsner Journal will feature more spine-related articles in the spring 2014 issue.
